During delidding, we apply Liquid Metal to both the IHS and CPU die and protect vulnerable parts with liquid electrical tape. The IHS and chip are reattached using High Temperature Silicone. If you prefer only the delid without reattachment, specify this in your order description or email us with your order number and preferences.
